Crimson Tremolo

The Crimson is a volume modulation circuit that creates a tremolo effect similar to that found on classic amplifiers.

The Crimson is housed ina tiny 2” x 2” enclosure that’s sure to squeeze onto any pedal board. Step onthe footswitch to turn the pedal on and off. The LED lights up to indicate thatthe effect is active. The effect is completely removed (true bypass) from yoursignal chain when the pedal is off.

Internal Controls

DEPTH – trimpot on the left when footswitch is down and LED is up. This controls the intensity of the tremolo effect and goes from almost unnoticeable to choppy

SPEED - trimpot on the right when footswitch is down and LED is up. The range is similar to a typical amplifier tremolo or “vibrato” speed control.

The Crimson comes factory set with a medium speed setting and medium intensity setting for a nice shimmery ring.

Configuration: As youlook down at the front of the Crimson, the LED is near the top, and the on/off footswitch is near the bottom. The input jack in on the right side, the output jack is on the left side, and the power jack is on the left side.

Power: You can only power the Crimson with an external power supply (9 VDC) with the commonly used center-negative barrel connector. The maximum current draw is 5mA.
