29 Pedals OAMP Output Amplifier Pedal

OAMP is the Output AMPlifier from 29 Pedals.

An output driver that replaces conventional buffers, line drivers and preamps. OAMP makes up to 29dB of gain, provides final signal conditioning and sweetening, and will drive lots of cable or capacitive loads.

OAMP will drive down to 600 ohms! The alt path is similar to EUNA, it’s active when the pedal is OFF. This will allow you to swap to a different output driver and create a sort of local channel-switching on your pedalboard. Also features the 29 Pedals WHATEVER power supply, which accepts 7.5 to 35 volts of AC or DC in either polarity with no change in tone.

OAMP has strong enough drive to drive several loads, passive splitters are no problem. You can manage the 29dB of gain using the two toggle switches, each stage has low and hi gain settings as well as a fixed tone filter.

The Level control sits between the two gain stages and doesn’t affect the overall input and output impedances. The Presence control dials in some classic amp-style mid-scoop to tailor the midrange drive, or simulate an amp when going direct.

It’s pronounced w-amp! AMP is an output driver designed to replace a conventional output buffer or gain pedal at the end of your chain. If you’re familiar with EUNA

(pronounced yoo-nah), it’s a similar concept but with a few key differences. High headroom, clean gain, great drive capability.

There are subtle tonal variations in the gain settings. Maximum clean output level is 20dB. 29dB of gain available. AMP makes enough gain to drive your amp into breakup without adding it’s own distortion, or you can use it to trim hot signals from your pedalboard.

The insert loop is active when AMP is OFF, so you can easily swap from
clean drive to a dirt pedal, alternative preamp or anything you want really. With nothing plugged into the insert AMP is True-Bypass when switched off.

Presence. At fully clockwise there is a gentle shape to the tone – dial it back to add a subtle mid-scoop to the sound similar to an amplifier tone stack.

Input gain stage. Settings for High, Low and Bright. Bright adds top end to the Low setting. This stage is before the Level fader.

Level. A trim control between the two gain stages. With both gain stages at low and Presence at full, gain is about 6dB. With both gain stages at high, gain is about 29dB
