Death By Audio Evil Filter

The circuit begins with the auxiliary: the Evil Fuzz. There’s just one knob and an intensity switch. Knowing Death By Audio you’d expect the fuzz to be high-output and the intensity switch to range from “over the top” to “really over the top,” and you’d be right on the money. There is a reason for this fuzz madness, and it comes in the form of the second footswitch, the Evil Filter itself.

The filter section gets a whole mess of controls, from a super-deep Frequency knob that ranges from 0 to 10.5kHz and a supercharged Resonance control. There’s even a switch that increases the range of the Resonance control for extended madness. A Filter Selector switch switches between High Pass, Band Pass and Low Pass settings.
